The number of Boveda two-way humidity control packs you need will depend on the type of cigar humidifier pack you’ve got and how many cigars your humidor is rated to hold. As a general guideline, use the following recommendations:

For a small humidor that can hold up to 60 cigars, use between 2 and 3 humidor packets

For a medium humidor that holds between 61 and 150 cigars, use between 4 and 6 packs

And for large humidors that can hold upwards of 151 cigars, use 6 or more packs

If we had to average it out, you’d be using around 1 Boveda humidity pack for every 20-30 smokes that your humidor can store, regardless of how many cigars are actually in your humidor. With that said, please make sure that you distribute the packs evenly throughout the humidor. This is especially important if your humidor has a unique design with different compartments.
