Colibri is a cigar accessory brand founded in 1928 by Julius Lowenthal. The company gained its very first bit of recognition after introducing some of the earliest automatic lighters on the market - an achievement that very few brands could claim at the time.

Since then, Colibri has continued to build its reputation around innovation, reliability, and thoughtful design. Today, Colibri is one of the most recognizable names in the cigar world. Their products, from cigar ashtrays and cases to lighters and cutters, are valued by cigar smokers across the world for their dependable performance and refined aesthetic.

There are many cigar accessory brands on the market, but Colibri has managed to remain one of the few that continue to be a strong favorite among cigar smokers, and for a good reason. All of their accessories strike the perfect balance between performance, durability, and affordability without compromising on quality or design.

Whether you’re buying a Colibri torch lighter, a cigar cutter, or another one of their accessories, it will also come with a generous warranty period. So should you face any issues that are not due to typical wear, you can rest assured that you’ll be fully covered.

Yes, Colibri is a good cigar lighter brand and one of the most respected names in the cigar accessories industry. Founded in the late 1920s, Colibri has nearly a century of craftsmanship behind its back, and is widely trusted by both casual and seasoned cigar enthusiasts.

Yes, Colibri cigar cutters are considered an excellent choice. They offer sharp and clean cuts that preserve the integrity of the cigar’s wrapper, which is one of the reasons behind their popularity among cigar smokers.

A V-cut cigar cutter is designed to remove a V-shaped notch from the cap of the cigar. This style of cut concentrates the draw through a focused channel, which is something many cigar smokers prefer, as they believe it intensifies the flavor and providers a much tighter and more controlled smoking experience.

It depends on the issue that you’re facing with your Colibri lighter. If the problem is a depleted flint or a clogged burner, you should generally be able to resolve the problem at home with minimal effort. If you’re facing a bigger issue, check if your lighter is still under warranty and take advantage of it.
